Tour Plan

Day 01 Agadir – Taliouine – Taznakht – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dades

The 4 days tour from Agadir to Merzouga will starts from a hotel pick up  and drive at the back side of the high Atlas Mountains. Traverse hills that are planted with Argan tress and big farms. . Along the way, we pass through Taroudant and reach the charming town of Taliouine, renowned for its saffron production. Taking breaks along the way for tea with Zafran at Taliouine.  Continuing the adventure crossing the Anti Atlas Mountains, passing by the town of Taznakht, famous for its exquisite Berber carpets. Our next sto is the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Include a break for lunch and walking tour to explore the Kasbah: home to many movies like the Gladiator.

Later on transfer to the valley of Dades passing the town of Kalaa Mgouna, a town know for the rose water production.

Reach the valley of Dades and overnight at the hotel overlooking the lush valley.

Day 02 Boumalne Dades – Todgha gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga desert

After breakfast, we move on to Tinghir along the Dades Valley. In Tinghir we drive to Todgha Gorges. It’s the highest cliffs in the southern Morocco and a good place for experienced mountaineers. We walk between the gorges where the river of Todgha flows to irrigate the palm groves and the farmers’ plantations. We keep moving across Tinjdad, Erfoud famous for sculpture and fossil preparation. We visit the local market of Rissani and we end up in the hotel nearby Merzouga.

Start the camel expedition to the campsite and enjoy picture from the top of your camel.

Take photos of sand dunes and camels. In the camp take time to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and take great pictures of the sunset over the sand dunes.

Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 03 Merzouga desert – Rissani – Alnif – Nekoub – Agdez – Ouarzazate

We set off for Ouarzazate via Rissani and Alnif towns. We drive on the Southern way to join the Draa valley with its spectacular lush palm groves. We continue through Ait Saouen village, located at the hillside of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. We drive via the black mountains of inactive volcano at the anti-atlas mountains. Arrival to Ouarzazate and check into your hotel.

Day 04 Ouarzazate – Taznakht – Taroudant – Agadir

Breakfast at the hotel and depart at 9am. Head towards Agadir while passing via Taznakht, known as the capital of carpets in Morocco. Further on, we reach Taliouine, known for the cultivation of Saffran plant. After tea with zaffran rest & lunch. We drive to Agadir. Check into the hotel. Drop off & farwell.
