Day 01 Fes airport-hotel in Fes

Upon your arrival at Fes airport, we’ll warmly welcome you and provide a seamless transfer to your hotel. Once you’ve settled in, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to explore the bustling and historic medina of Fes at your own pace. Day 02 Fes city tour

Fez, or Fes, proudly stands as Morocco’s first imperial city, steeped in history and brimming with captivating attractions. Renowned as the spiritual center of the country, Fez holds a special place in the hearts of both locals and visitors alike. One of its prized treasures is the illustrious Karaouiyin University, hailed as one of the oldest in the world.

To make the most of your visit to Fez, having a knowledgeable local guide is a must. Day 03 Day trip to Chefchaouen – Meknes

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an exciting journey to the captivating town of Chefchaouen. As we drive through the charming city of Ouazzane and the picturesque Rif Mountains, be prepared to be mesmerized by the breathtaking vistas of narrow valleys and lush green landscapes. Don’t forget to capture the beauty of these natural wonders with your camera, as there will be plenty of opportunities for vivid pictures.

Upon reaching Chefchaouen, you’ll have around 3-4 hours to explore the enchanting Andalusian quarter, also known as the medina. Lose yourself in the labyrinthine streets, taking in the charm of this distinctive blue-painted town. Don’t miss the chance to visit the main Square and the historic Kasbah, which hold significant cultural and architectural value.

The market area beckons with its vibrant colors and bustling atmosphere, making it a perfect place to enjoy a delicious lunch and experience the local flavors.

Later in the afternoon, we’ll gather you once more and head towards Meknes. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, where you can unwind and prepare for an evening stroll near the impressive Bab el Mansour, the main gate of the city. The beautifully adorned gate provides a glimpse into the rich history and grandeur of Meknes, making it an ideal spot for an evening wander.

Day 04 Meknes – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga desert

Our journey begins as we head to Midelt, passing through the picturesque town of Azrou, nestled in the majestic Middle Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 2000 meters and above. Along the way, we’ll pause to take in the stunning views of the fertile Sais plain, surrounded by the natural beauty of the cedar forest, home to a delightful group of Barbary apes.

Next, we’ll continue our scenic drive, making our way to Errachidia through the eastern High Atlas Mountains. During this leg of the journey, we’ll make a stop for a delightful lunch.

As we proceed, you’ll be captivated by the mesmerizing palm groves lining the Ziz valley until we reach Erfoud. From there, we’ll head straight to the enchanting sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, close to the town of Merzouga.

Once we arrive at Merzouga, we’ll switch from the car to camels for a truly authentic desert experience. You’ll embark on a camel trek that lasts about an hour to reach our campsite. Don’t worry about your luggage; it will be taken care of either by a separate car to the camp or, if you prefer, you can pack a small backpack for the desert night and leave your suitcase in our car—rest assured, it will be safe!

The camel ride is a memorable adventure as you traverse the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Upon reaching the campsite, you’ll have free time to explore the majestic dunes, capture stunning sunset pictures, and even try your hand at some sandboarding fun. Relax with a cup of tea before a delicious dinner.

Afterwards, you can choose to join the merry campers for some vibrant drum music or simply immerse yourself in the serene silence of the desert. Enjoy a refreshing shower before retiring to your comfortable tent for a peaceful night’s sleep under the starry sky.

Day 05 Merzouga desert – Todgha gorges – Dades valley

As the first light of dawn breaks over the horizon, wake up to capture breathtaking sunrise pictures in the desert. After a satisfying breakfast, it’s time to embark on another memorable adventure. We’ll begin with a camel trek that takes us back to the town, where our trusty jeep awaits.

From here, we set off on a scenic drive towards the stunning Todgha Gorges. Along the way, we’ll make a stop in Rissani, where you’ll have the chance to explore the vibrant Souk, especially if our journey coincides with the bustling day market.

As we continue our journey, we’ll be spellbound by the awe-inspiring Todgha Gorges, with their flowing waters and picturesque gardens. Take your time to revel in the beauty of this natural wonder before we move on to our next destination.

A delicious lunch awaits us, providing us with the energy needed for the rest of our adventure. Our next stop will be the enchanting Dades Valley. Throughout the journey, we’ll make occasional stops to savor the scenic beauty that unfolds before us.

By evening, we’ll reach our destination and check into a comfortable hotel, where you can relax and rejuvenate after an eventful day. The Dades Valley promises to leave you in awe of its mesmerizing landscapes and charming surroundings.

Day 06 Dades valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

Our next destination is the captivating town of Ouarzazate, and we’ll embark on a scenic journey along the famed Road of Thousand Kasbahs. En route, we’ll pass through the charming villages of Kelaa Mgouna and Skoura, where lush palm groves will mesmerize you with their beauty. Ouarzazate, known for its peaceful ambiance and spacious streets, holds fame as a significant hub for the cinema industry, bridging the gap between the majestic Mountains and the vast Sahara Desert.

One of the highlights of our trip will be a visit to the remarkable Ait Ben Haddou Ksar, renowned as one of Morocco’s most attractive Kasbahs. You’ll be amazed by its timeless beauty and may recognize it from various blockbuster films, including the famous Gladiator. Day 07 Marrakech city tour

Today, get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant city of Marrakech as we embark on an exciting exploration. Our first stop will be the enchanting Majorelle Gardens, designed by Yves Saint Laurent, where you can wander among the beautiful botanical wonders. Along the way, we’ll also visit historical sites such as the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, which resembles the twin tower of Giralda in Seville, Spain, adding a touch of architectural splendor to the city.

The Saadian Tombs will captivate you with their exquisite Moorish architecture, showcasing perfection in design. Next, we’ll visit the opulent Bahia Palace and the inspiring Madrassa Ibn Youssef, giving you a glimpse into the rich history and cultural heritage of Morocco.

As evening sets in, the lively beat of drums will beckon you to Djemaa El Fna, the bustling main city square. Day 08 Day trip to Essaouira

Today, we’ll escape the bustling city life of Marrakech and venture towards the serene coastal city of Essaouira for an exciting day trip. The heart of Essaouira lies in its UNESCO-listed medina, where you’ll find the enchanting old quarter, known as the Saqala, as well as the charming small harbor offering delectable fish dishes.

Upon arriving in Essaouira, you’ll have ample time to leisurely wander through the narrow streets of the old city, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere and enjoying the laid-back coastal life. Explore the fascinating history and culture that surrounds you as you venture through the medina’s alleys.

As the evening approaches, we’ll head back to Marrakech, where you can return to the comfort of your delightful Riad. This traditional guesthouse will provide the perfect retreat after a day filled with coastal delights and cultural discoveries.

After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, it’s time to bid farewell to the captivating city of Marrakech. We will arrange a seamless transfer to the Marrakech airport, ensuring that you reach there in a timely manner for your departing flight.
