15 days Tour from Marrakech

Today time devoted to explore the red city of Marrakech. We begin the tour with an exterior visit of the Koutoubia Mosque, a 12 century mosque under the Almohade dynasty. Further, walk through the Kasbah quarter with its royal necropolis and Moulay Elyazid Mosque.

Traverse the Jewish quarter called Mellah with its market to Bahia Palace: a well maintained 19 century palace in the medina of Marrakech.

Discover the beauty of moorish islamic arts through a visit of the Bahia palace. It shows the essence of Moroccan architecture.

Navigate the busiest street of the Medina:  a place full of movements where merchants open their Bazars and see different kind of staff.

Afternoon is at leisure. You might go for a walk and enjoy the open spectacle of the Jamaa el Fna main Square where you attend a nonstop performance. Musicians, acrobats, story tellers, water sellers, scent of Barbecue, orange jus…Free dinner.

You may do some optional activities such as taking a Moroccan Hammam that we recommend, or just have rest a the toproof of your hotel.

Pick up and departure from your Riad/Hotel around 08h00. We drive to Ait Ben haddou via high Atlas Mountains. In the itinerary we include several stops for panoramic pictures and enchanting views of Berber villages. The road will lead you through twisty curves and green valleys. Include a visit of Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is declared a world heritage patrimony by the UNESCO. the Kasbah houses are made of clays and shows the kind of housing in the Southern Morocco.  the place offers nicest scenes for more than twenty movies such as the Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and much more.

Visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and then transfer to Ouarzazate. Visit Atlas Studio and a glimpse to Taourirt Kasbah.

Breakfast at the hotel. Set off for Dades valley  via the town of Skoura: This town is known for the surrounding palm groves and the numerous citadels taken as homes.

On the road of thousand Kasbah, stop to visit Amridil Kasbah. Then move to Kalaa Mgouna known for perfume products from the roses.

Visit of local cooperative for roses products. Then lunch.

Drive to Dades valley enjoying the nice rock formation along the green valley. This includes a stop to see the monkey’s fingers!

Venture it along the lush valley of Dades and admiring farming along the valley.

Arrive to the hotel and check in. Dinner and breakfast

After Breakfast, Drive on the road known under name of : the Road of  thousand and one Kasbahs crossing dozen villages perched along oases and rivers. Arrive to Tinghir, famous for its silver jewelry and the majestic Todgha gorges. Take a twenty minutes’ walk to enjoy the fresh air, and the stunning view of the palm groves that stretches along the Todgha River. Continuation via Tinjdad to Erfoud famous for many types of fossils, along the way we visit the sub ground water old system of oases irrigation called Khettara.

After lunch, you will be driven to Merzouga through Rissani. You change the car with friendl y camels to spend the night under nomad traditional wool tent. Enjoy your chicken Tajine dish and music in the heart of the Sahara desert.

This morning you wake up for sunrise lovely pictures. Right away, a breakfast will be served with a view to Erg Chebbi dunes.

As an option you ride camels to the town where you will meet your driver.

Travel by car via Erfoud and the Ziz Valley where we stop for many pictures of palms trees. Enjoy the Ziz gorges and Eastern High Atlas Mountains. Change the heat of Sahara to the refreshing High Mountains.

Arrival to Midelt. Check into the hotel. Dinner and breakfast

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and travel via Zaida to Azrou. See the Cedar forest of Azrou where you see monkeys living in the cedar forest of Ifrane National Park.

Transfer to Meknes. Tour of Meknes will targets main sites like the Bab Mansour and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch break, travel to volubilis and take a guided tour of the Roman ruins.

Later on, transfer to Fes. Check into the hotel.

Considered among the oldest in the world. Hiring a local guide in Fez is essential to have a complete visit. You start the journey with a visit of royal palace  Mechouar and gate. The Fez orientation tour by car will take you to see the ceramic cooperative, once of the well presered activities for Fes people.

Navigate the medina and see the Chouaara tanneries, one of the oldest still functing activity in Fes and learn how people treat leather to make great staff. Move with your guide to explore the ancient University of Karaouiyin and the vibrant alleys of the old quarter. You will admire the bustling streets of the Medina where merchants open their shops. After an active journey we take you back to your hotel.

Morning departure from the hotel Chefchaouen, we drive across the Rif Mountains with a stop for lunch. We arrive in Chefchaouen and check into the hotel.

Take an evening walk to see the main Utta Hamam square and the spring of Ras el Ma.

Enjoy a walk in the souk and take great pictures of the blue streets.

Travel to the extreme north of Morocco: Tangier.

Along the way, visit hercule caves and learn about its legend.

Drive along the Atlantic coast to meet the Mediterranean Sea.

Later on, drive down to see the Medina of Tangier: Walk a in the Kasbah and see the gate of the sea ( Bab lbahr).

After hotel check in, Time to navigate more of the medina at your own; See Tangier American legation museum, Grand Socco, markets…

Overnight at hotel Fredj or similar.

Breakfast at Transfer to Rabat.

Start the visit of Rabat. The latter is the administrative capital of Morocco: it’s modern, spacious with nice gardens. The visit of Rabat includes the Hassan Tower, The façades of the royal palace, the Oudaya Kasbah.

Travel to Casablanca. See Hassan 2 Mosque and hotel check in.

Breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to Essaouira.

The Unesco city has the old quarte called the medina the Saqala: The Gladiator movie set and the small harbor with tasty fish food.  We reach Essaouira and we check in. Later on, we take a guided visit of the medina including a lunch time. Take your free time to walk along the beach, or spent your time at leisure. Overnight stay at the Riad.
