10 days Morocco Trip From Marrakech

After breakfast, you meet the guide who will transfer you to Casablanca. In Casablanca we visit the Hassan II mosque, the second biggest religious site after Mecca. The Mosque has a view out to the Atlantic Ocean and part of it is established on the sea. The minaret is 200 meters; this makes the mosque visible from the outskirts of Casablanca. We continue to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. Rabat is modern, spacious with nice gardens. The visit of Rabat includes the Hassan Tower and Mohamed V Mausoleum, The façades of the royal palace and the Oudaya Kasbah.

Later on, we check into the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Chefchaouen en 4 hours drive. Check into the hotel.

Later on, take a free evening to see the beautiful blue walled houses and take a wander in the medina. Enjoy seeing locals in the Souk selling things brought from the countryside.

Free dinner and overnight stay at a Riad in the medina.

Morning departure to Meknes where we take a 2 hours guided Tour of Meknes targeting these places: Royal stabes, bab mansour, Hri swani, the Sultan Mausoleum..After lunch we drive to the Roman ruins of Volubilis where we take a guided visit of the site. Later on, we drive to Fes and check into the hotel.

Fez or Fes is the first Moroccan imperial city. It holds a wealth of attractions and described as the spiritual centre of Morocco. The Karaouiyin University of Fez is considered among the oldest in the world. Hiring a local guide in Fez is essential to have a complete visit. You start the journey with a visit of royal palace and the ceramics and poetry looking at hand made artefacts. You move with your guide to explore the ancient University of Karaouiyin, the Tanneries and the vibrant alleys of the old quarter. You will admire the bustling streets of the Medina where merchants open their shops.

After breakfast, we depart to Merzouga. On the road we cross several Berber towns: Imouzzèr a small town that gives out to Sais plains, then Ifrane a summer resort town in the Middle Atlas Mountains. We drive to Azrou Cedar forest for monkey pictures and then to Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, we carry on to Merzouga through Errachidia, Erfoud and Rissani. Arrive to Merzouga.

As an option take a camel ride to the camp and enjoy the trek on sand dunes, Or transfer it with a jeep to reach the camp.

After breakfast, we set off for Dades valley. You’ll be taken via the tamac road to Alnif and drive via Tizi n trkhine to The city of Tinghir. The later is famous for the amazing Todgha Gorges. They are cliffs that rise up to 300 meters among which the clean river flows. The palm groves stretch along the river giving a unique view. To the way to the gorges stand the old Ksar which is partially inhabited. We continue to Boumalne town from where you enjoy the picturesque views along the river of Dades till you reach the hotel.

See the monkey fingers and drive to Dades gorges where to take a walk with pictures.

After breakfast, we drive to Ouarzazate on the way of thousand Kasbah. We drive back to Tinghir to join the main road. We cross Boumalne Dades from where we move alongside the Dades valley.. We continue along the Dades Valley and passing Skoura where we visit the Amridil Kasbah. We drive to Ouarzazate.

Possiblity to visit Atlas Studio for cinema and meseum.

Continue to Marrakech. On the way stop for pictures of Ait Ben haddou.

Travel along Ounila valley and the village of Telouet.

Join the main Road at Tizi N tichka, always via the high Atlas Mountains. Reach Marrakech at the late afternoon. Check into the hotel.

Drop off at your Riad in Marrakech

Today time devoted to explore the red city of Marrakech. We begin the local visit with a wander in the Majorelle gardens. Moreover, we visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadyin tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the busiest street of the Medina. Afternoon is at leisure. You might go for a walk and enjoy the open spectacle of the Djemaa el Fna main square where you attend a nonstop performance. Musicians, acrobats, story tellers, water sellers, scent of Barbecue, orange jus…Free dinner.
