You start your 10 days Morocco tour by meeting and greeting at Marrakech Menara airport (RAK) and transfer to the hotel.
Today will be dedicated to explore Marrakech. Historical visit of Marrakech will include Lmnara , a magnificent pool surrounded by flowers. Then our guide take you to visit other impressive sights such as the koutoubia Mosque (the twin tower of Giralda in Seville, Spain), and the Saadian tombs which demonstrate the Moorish architecture in its perfection. We also visit the Bahia palace and Madrassa Ibn Youssef. The guide takes you to the restaurant for lunch.
Evening drums will draw you to the Jamaa el Fna (main city square). It’s a festival atmosphere, with snake charmers, Berber and Gnoua musicians, and storytellers illuminated by lamplight and wreathed in smoke. Food stalls on the square sell fresh salads, soups, fried fish and chips, chicken and beef kebabs and even boiled snails or sheep’s head. Finish it off with a glass of sweet cinnamon tea.
Start your journey from the hotel and head Ouarzazate via the Mountains of Atlas. It takes four hours drive between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, but we take the entire journey for stops, drinks, pictures…we sotp to visit ait Benhaddou Kasbah and continue to Ouarzazate. Overnight stay at the hotel.
We set off for the town of Zagora via tha anti Atlas Mountains with their nice rock formation. We pass the little town of Agdez, where we join the longest valley of plam trees in Morocco called the Draa valley. We visit the anciant kasbah of Tamnogalt and take the time for lunch. We continue our journey via the palm groves of Draa valley and take short off road drive to enjoy the landscape. At the evening, we reach the town of Zagora. Check into the hotel.
Today, we take some adventure to enjoy the desert of Morocco. We set off for the little village of Ramlia passing by the rocky plates of the Southern Morocco where nomads take care of their goats and camels and inhabit the tents, and dried plains where people cultivate the wheat during rainy seasons. We pass the villages of Tamassint, Oumejrane, Fougani where we stop from lunch.
At the afternoon, we pass the fish-fish dried river of Oued Ghriss to reach the little town of Ramlia where we spent the night in a local guesthouse.
Today’s itinerary has a little bit of adventures, but it reveals the authentic Morocco. The accommodation is basic but clean and the food is great.
After a small tour in the gardens and the houses of the village, we head the dunes of Erg Chebbi and the drive takes around two hours.We reach Merzouga, a town by the edge of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes where we take a camel trek into the dunes, and we have an overnight stay at the dunes of ERG Chebi. You enjoy the high sand dunes, and take nice pictures of the sunset. The tent is equipped with toilet facilities.
In order to take lovely pictures, you will wake up before sunrise (optional). Then have breakfast. We depart to Dades Valley, and stop in Rissani to have a visit of the local Market. We cross Erfoud and we end up in Todgha Gorges for lunch. We devote some time to walk among the cliffs of Todgha gorges and along the Todgha River where we exchange the heat of the Sahara desert with the cool weather of the Atlas Mountains. We keep moving to Boumalne town and later along Assif N Dades. We spend the night in a hotel next to the Dades canyons.
Set off for the town of Ait Benhaddou, we stop at the town where locals produce the rose water and perfume. The place is called Kelaa Mgouna.
The drive take us to Skoura town with its palm groves. We visit the Kasbah of Amridil and drive through Ouarzazate to Ait Benhaddou where we check into the hotel.
Begin the journey for Marrakech taking the alternative road of Telouet till the peak of the Atlas Mountains where we join the main road. We stop for lovely pictures and visit a local cooperative of Argan oil. At the evening, we reach Marrakech and check to the hotel.
At the morning, we collect you to the airport and end of our services. Have a safe flight home. End of the ten days tour from Marrakech.
