Day3:Essaouira to Marrakech

Morning transfer to Marrakech. Today will be dedicated to explore Marrakech. Historical visit of Marrakech will include Lmnara , a magnificent pool surrounded by flowers. Then our guide take you to visit other impressive sights such as the koutoubia Mosque (the twin tower of Giralda in Seville, Spain), the Saadian tombs which demonstrate the Moorish architecture in its perfection. Evening drums will draw you to the Jamaa el Fna (main city square). Day4:Marrakech-high Atlas Mountains-Ait Ben Haddou-Zagora

Meet in your hotel and departure to Ait Ben Haddou Ksar Via the high Atlas Mountains.Enjoy enchanting Berber villages and lush valleys. A long the way we stop for lovely pictures. We arrive to the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou where we visit the Kasbah, an important sight in the Southern Morocco which is put under UNESCO protection. Lunch in the village. We continue via Ouarzazate to Zagora through the Mountains of the Anti (small) Atlas Mountains. We join the Draa Valley with its million palm trees. Arrival to Zagora and check into the hotel.

Day5:Zagora-Tazarine-Rissani-Merzouga desert

You’ll be transferred to Merzouga desert via the villages of Tazarine & Alnif. Before possibly visit the ancient market of Rissani and then move on to Merzouga. We change the vehicle with camels and start a camel trek into the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. You enjoy peaceful night in Sahara and gaze at shinning stars. You can enjoy some music around fire with the campers. Sleep well

Day6:Merzouga desert-Todgha gorges-Dades valley

Wake up for sunrise pictures. Breakfast and take a camel trek into the town from where we depart with our jeep to the gorges of Todgha. Along the way, we stop to visit the Souk in Rissani if we coincide with the day day market.
Time will be spent to enjoy the spectacular Todgha gorges where water flows along the valley. After lunch, you will be transferred to Dades valley with stops to enjoy the scenic road in between. We reach the Dades valley in the evening, and check into the hotel.

Day7:Dades valley-Ouarzazate-Telouet-Marrakech

We depart to Ouarzazate taking the road of Thousand Kasbah and passing Kelaa Mgouna & Skoura village with its palm groves. Ouarzazate is a peaceful town with spacious streets. Famous for the Cinema industry, Ouarzazate separates the Mountains with the Sahara Desert. We continue to Ait Ben Haddou. you visit the most attractive Kasbah in Morocco and the spot for numerous films like the Gladiator. The site of Ait Ben Haddou was declared a world heritage patrimony by the UNESCO. After lunch we carry on our way through the Tichka pass (2260M), with enchanting Berber views. Day1:Casablanca-Rabat-Chefchaouen

Arrival to Mohamed V Airport. Greetings and start the 11 days tour from  Casablanca. This city is the economic capital of Morocco. In Casablanca we visit the Hassan II Mosque and the city centre like the Mohamed V & Nations’ Squares. We continue to Rabat. Day2:Chefchaouen-Volubilis-Meknes

After lunch in Chefchaouen, the 4 hours drive takes us South to Meknes along the enclosed valleys of the Rif Mountains including pictures of lovely landscapes. We arrive in Meknes around 18h, and check into the hotel.

Day3:Meknes-Fez

After Breakfast, we make a short tour of Meknes with a local guide targeting historical sites such as the medina, The 17 century Mausoleum of the Sultan Moulay Ismail, the rampart, the ancient cereal stores. Later, we leave for the Volubilis: an ancient Roman sites turned to be ruins. After lunch & visit, we go to Fez. Check into the hotel.

Day4:Fez sightseeing

Fez, also Fes is the first Moroccan imperial city. It holds a wealth of attractions and described as the spiritual centre of Morocco. Hiring a local guide in Fez is essential to have a complete visit. Along with a local guide, you start the journey with a glimpse on façades of the Royal palace with nice pictures of the colorful main entrance. We move on to the ceramics and poetry to see the handmade artifacts. You continue with your guide to explore the ancient tanneries where leather is cleaned and manufactured. After lunch, you’ll wander in the bustling streets of the Medina where merchants open their shops. After an active journey we take you back to the hotel.

Day5: Fez –Ifrane-Cedar forest-Midelt-Erfoud-Merzouga

After breakfast, we set off for the small town of Merzouga. Along the way, we cross several Berber towns: Imouzzèr a small town that gives out to Sais plains, then Ifrane a summer resort town at the edge of the Middle Atlas Mountains. We drive to Azrou Cedar forest for monkey pictures and then to Midelt for lunch.
In the afternoon, we carry on to Merzouga through Errachidia, Erfoud and Rissani. We reach Merzouga at the evening.

Day6:Merzouga sightseeing

Today’s plan reconciles with Fez Merzouga long drive. Time will be devoted to explore Merzouga and its suburbs. We tour the Sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi that stretches in the Sahara desert on 59 km long and 7 km width. It is a gift from nature! It inspires locals and guests with it high sandy dunes. We visit a local association for the African music called Gnaoua. The plan includes driving on open spaces and the Serij lake (if the saison is a rainy one). At the afternoon, we change the car with friendly camels to ride on to the middle of the sandy dunes where the tented camp is located. After an hour camel trek, you reach an ocean of sand dunes, Yes, this is Sahara!. You’ll spend the night under equipped tent and have dinner under tents or on open air.
You experience the peaceful area; you go sand boarding and take pictures of a spectacular sunset. Dinner and breakfast are at the camp.

After dinner, possibility to listen to local music played by the Guys running the camp. Enjoy music under a blanket of stars!

Day7:Merzouga – Todgha gorges_the rose’s valley

Wake up for a spectacular sunrise pictures and breakfast, and then ride your camel back to the village. We set off for the town of Kelaa Mgouna on the direction to Marrakech. Few hours’ drive takes us to the stunning Todgha Gorges where the cliffs rise up to 160 meters high, narrowing to 10 meters width in some places. The fresh sub ground water flows down for valley’s irrigation . After lunch, we move to Dades valley stretching long from North to the West with brick mud & cement houses along the road till El Kelaa Mgouna where we join the rose’s valley till our hotel. The later has a panoramic view on the Assif Mgoun (River Mgoun). Check into the hotel.

Day8:Kelaa Mgouna – Marrakech

Morning departure from the hotel along Assif Mgoun till El Kelaa Mgouna. We move on along the Oasis of Skoura till Ouarzazate. You take the time to take pictures of the Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas studio for cinema under your interest. We go to Ait Benhaddou to visit one of the most impressive Kasbah (fort) in the Southern Morocco. The site consists of collective habitats representing the style of architecture in the south and is used for many movies like the gladiator and the game of thrones. After lunch, we drive along the Tizi N Tichka (Tichka pass) to Marrakech with stops for lovely sceneric pictures. Check into the hotel.

Day9:Marrakech sightseeing tour

This town reflects the character of Portuguese settlers of the 16th century, and it’s famous for its fine handicrafts, and silver threads. You have the chance to taste fresh fish and stroll in its alleys before driving back to Marrakech.

The Mosque has a view out to the Atlantic Ocean and part of it is established on the sea. The minaret is 200 meters; this makes the mosque visible from the outskirts of Casablanca. We continue to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. Rabat is modern, spacious with nice gardens. Day2:Meknes-Fez

Meknes is another Moroccan imperial city like Rabat. It holds the ville nouvelle and the Medina. Sightseeing includes Moulay Ismail mausoleum, the basin Swani, the Jewish cemetery and the old cereal storage rooms. We drive to Fez via the ruins of Volubilis.

Day4: Fez – Merzouga

You continua  through Ifrane, famous for the university of alAkhawayn (the brothers university), and the royal palace. Take a stop in Azrou cedar forest where we take pictures of the macaque monkeys. You move with driver ahead Midelt for lunch. We keep moving through the High Atlas Mountains and we cross Errachida, Erfoud which is famous for the fossil’s preparation. We drive the rest of the itinerary to Merzouga through Rissani. Overnight in a campfire with Berber music.

Day5:Merzouga – Todgha gorges -Boumalne de Dades-Kelaa Mgouna

In order to take lovely pictures, you will be awaken before sunrise.  and then, you drive back your camels outside of the dunes.  Departure to Dades Gorges, and stop in Rissani to have a visit of the local Market. We cross Erfoud and with end up in Todgha Gorges for lunch. You devote some time to walk among the cliffs of Todgha gorges and along the Todgha river where we exchange the heat of the Sahara desert with the cool weather of the Atlas Mountains. We keep moving to Dades Gorges via Boumalne Dades into the town of Kelaa Mgouna. Check into the hotel.

After breakfast, We drive to Marrakech. On the way we cross the village of roses where the festival of roses is taken place every year. You wake up for fabulous sunrise and then you’ll take breakfast. You start the journey back to the village from where you depart to Dades valley. You’ll stop to enjoy the beautiful Todgha gorges and sightseeing along the way.
At the afternoon, you’ll be moved to Dades valley which has nice and long valley with water following from the high Atlas Mountains.

Day4: Marrakech city Tour

Pick up from the hotel. We leave Marrakech behind and head towards the Mountains of the high Atlas. We enjoy the spectacular landscape of Toufliht National Park. Pine, oak and Moroccan cactus trees are the most common tree species. We include few tops to capture some vivid and gorgeous pictures. Later on, we reach the curved snake road of the famous Tizi N’tichka pass which has the nicest panoramic views giving out to deep and enclosed valleys. Here we are on the peak! Afterwards we will go down the road leading to the village of Ait Ben Haddou, a little town at the edge of Oued Lmalh (Salty River). At the edge side, a beautiful tall building is perching at a hillside. Yes, this is the Kasbah! An entire village made of Adobe where people inhabit. We take a guided visit of the Kasbat. This is a world heritage site by the UNESCO. The place was taken as a movie set for Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia movies, beside more than twenty others. Lunch will be taken before or after the visit upon choice.
Later on, we drive to Ouarzazate. Possibly, to have a visit of the Atlas Studio used as a movie set as well. Then, we take a visit of Taourirt Kasbah.
We transfer the group in one hour drive to Skoura. Check into the hotel.

Day5:: Skoura – Kelaa des M Gouna – Boumlene Dades

After breakfast, we check into the hotel. Nearby, we visit the Amridil Kasbah, an impressive tall adobe building dated from the 17 century.
Later on, we reach and stop in El Kelaa Mgouna which is home to roses’ products, the town where people celebrated the festival of roses every second week of May. We will visit a local cooperative and shop specializes in the distillation of rose water and making products.
Later on, we move to the valley of Dades. The scenic road into the gorges is spectacular. Nice rock formations are made by the Assif M’goun River and are breathtaking. We visit the Dades gorges. Our hotel gives out to the gardens along the River.

Day6:Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

After breakfast, Transfer to Merzouga via the majestic Todgha gorges. We stop in the gorges to take a walk beside the water stream and capture some lovely pictures. Later on we drive via Erfoud, the city gate into the big Sahara desert and a town known for preparing fossils. After an hour we reach the little town of Merzouga. Nearby, we start a camel trek into the sand dunes called Erg Chebbi to spend a peaceful night in the Sahara desert.
You spend a wonderful night under a blanket of stars and enjoy the silence of the desert. Overnight stay under a nomad tent.

Day7:Merzouga – Fez

After sunrise pictures and breakfast, we set off for Fes. We drive via Erfoud and we join the valley of Ziz with a stop for a picture of palm groves. We pass Errachidia city, and start the Eastern part of the high Atlas Mountains till the town of Midelt where we stop to have our lunch. Later on, we start the drive in the middle Atlas Mountains passing via the town of Timahdit, and stop to take the pictures of monkeys in the Cedar forest. Later on, we drive to Ifrane for our last picture stop before ending the journey in Fes around 18pm. Check into the hotel.

Day8: Fez Sightseeing Tour

Fes, also spelled Fez is the first Moroccan imperial city. It holds a wealth of attractions and known as the religious & spiritual centre of Morocco. The University of Karaouiyine is the only old operating university since the year of 859. Hiring an informative local guide in Fes is essential to have a complete visit.

Morning departure to Chefchaouen. We stop to take an hour guided visit of the Roman ruins called volubilis. Later on, we drive the 02h30 minutes to Chefchaouen via Ouazzane. Check into the hotel.

Day11:Chefchaouen free day

Free day in Chefchaouen with the availability of Transport in case you need that. You may like to go the morning to the fall of Akchour, and spend a free evening in the medina of Chefchaouen.

Day12:Chefchaouen – Casablanca

Transfer from Chefchaouen to Rabat. In Rabat visit of the Mausoleum Mohamed V and the unfinished mosque, then the Oudaya Kasbah. In the afternoon, we take you to Casablanca. Possible to have some sunset pictures for the Hassan 2 Mosque. Later on Check into the hotel.

Day1:Casablanca airport – Rabat – Meknès

Meeting is in Casablanca Mohamed V airport. Let’s begin your 16 days tour from Casablanca airport. In Casablanca we visit the Hassan II mosque, the second biggest religious site after Mecca. The Mosque has a view out to the Atlantic Ocean and part of it is established on the sea. After a short city tour f Casablanca. We continue to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. Rabat is modern, spacious with nice gardens. The visit of Rabat includes the Hassan Tower, The façades of the royal palace, the Oudaya Kasbah. Lunch is in Rabat. We drive the rest of the journey to Meknès. Check into the hotel.

Day2: Meknes-Volubilis -Chefchaouen

Meknes is another Moroccan imperial city like Rabat. It holds the ville nouvelle and the Medina. It was the capital of the Sultan Moulay Ismail during the 17 century, and it was besieged by huge walls for protection. Sightseeing includes Moulay Ismail mausoleum, the basin Swani, the Jewish cemetery and the old cereal storage rooms. Afternoon drive will take us to Chefchaouen with a stop in the roman ruins of volubilis.

Day3: Chefchaouen-Fez

Free morning in Chefchaouen. You will admire the blue city and meet friendly locals. After lunch, we drive our way to Fez.

Day4:Fes city Tour

Fez or Fes is the first Moroccan imperial city. It holds a wealth of attractions and described as the spiritual centre of Morocco. It is 03 towns at one: Fes el Bali, fes Jdid and the French town. Hiring a local guide in Fez is essential to have a complete visit.  Start the journey with a visit of royal palace façades then the ceramics and poetry looking at hand made artefacts. You move with your guide to explore the ancient city of Fez which holds the Tanneries and the vibrant alleys of the old quarter. You will admire the bustling streets of the Medina where merchants open their shops and expose their merchandise. In the evening, we collect you back to the hotel.

Day5:Fes-Ifrane-Midelt-Erfoud-Merzouga

After breakfast, we depart to Merzouga. On the road we cross several Berber towns: Imouzzèr a small town that gives out to Sais plains, then Ifrane a summer resort town in the Middle Atlas Mountains. We drive to Azrou Cedar forest for monkey pictures and then to Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, we carry on to Merzouga through Errachidia, Erfoud and Rissani. Overnight stay in Merzouga.

Day6:Around the desert of Merzouga

Today’s itinerary reconciles with Fez Merzouga long distance. Time will be devoted to explore around ERG Chebbi. We tour the Sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi that stretches in the Sahara desert across 30 km long and 10 km width. It is a gift from nature, and it inspires locals and guests alike. Sunrise and sunset are among the highlights. In the same day, we meet nomad families who take care of their animals. They live in nomad tents and they depend on grazing to win a living. We head to Rissani to visit the local market and to explore examples of ancient villages. Nearby Merzouga we listen to Gnawa music. At the afternoon you ride your camel to the camp where night will be spent and dinner is served on the place. You enjoy the view of the sand dunes and the serenity of the desert. Sleep well!

Day7:Merzouga – Ramlia

Today, be ready for the adventure across the wildrenss of Moroccan desert. We will be visiting Nomad people. After breakfast we set off for the small village of Ramlia driving on off road. After the village of Taouz the road turned to be off road. The area spectacular and the views differ from rocks to dried Wadis (rivers).
Accommodation is in a local guesthouse.

Day8:Ramlia-Alnif-Todgha gorges-Kelaa Mgoun

We set off for Kelaa. We drive on the asphalt way to Alnif. we stop in Tinjdad for lunch. In the afternoon, we continue to Tinghir, famous for the amazing Todgha Gorges. They are cliffs that rise up to 300 meters among which the clean river flows. The palm groves stretch along the river giving a unique view. To the way to the gorges stand the old Ksar which is partially inhabited. Night will be spent in a hotel nearby.

Day9:Kelaa Mgouna – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we drive on the valley of roses to admire the spectacular views of the area. We return back to Kelaa Mgouna from where we drive to Skoura. The Kasbah of Amridil is a well treat for this journey. After the visit we drive to Ouarzazate. Lunch time and visit of Studion of Cinema and Tourirt Kasbah. At the evening, we take you to the hotel.

Day10:Ouarzazate –Tizi n Tichka-Marrakech

After breakfast, we visit the Taourirt Kasbah, and we drive to Ait Ben Haddou village that holds the most impressive Kasbah in Morocco. In the UNESCO protected site, many movies have been shot. After lunch, we drive the rest of the Itinerary to Marrakech through the highest Atlas Mountains.

Day11:Marrakech sightseeing:

Today time devoted to explore the red city of Marrakech. We begin the local visit with a wander in the Majorelle gardens. Moreover, we visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadyin tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the busiest street of the Medina. Afternoon is at leisure. You might go for a walk and enjoy the open spectacle of the Djemaa el Fna main square where you attend a nonstop performance. Musicians, acrobats, story tellers, water sellers, scent of Barbecue, orange jus…all these characteristics give the place a high reputation.

Day12:Marrakech sightseeing:

After breakfast, we set off for the small mountainous village of Imilil. One of the best destinations for experienced mountaineers. You do some trekking on the highest peaks of Toubkal Mountains. We take the time to enjoy the enchanting views of enclosed valley with lovely pictures. We meet local people and see how they practice agriculture on tiny places. After an active trek, we check into the hotel.

Day13:Imlil – Essaouira:

This itinerary combines the mysterious allure of Marrakech and the and the relaxed coastal vible of Essaouira. After breakfast we depart to Essaouira which is less than 3 hours from Marrakech. Essaouira is a windy town that gives out to the Atlantic ocean with a harbour. it has a rich history and was a portugaise establishment during the 16 century. Today, you will change the busiest atmosphere of Marrakech with the vibles of Essaouira. You enjoy your time walking in the Medina and taste a savourous fish dish in the port. Night in riad maison du Sud Essaouira.

Free day: explore the city of Essaouira at your rhythm.

Day15:Essaouira – Marrakech:

Morning drive to Marrakech. Free evening: have last touches and shopping at the Market.
